Tiger Woods PGA Tour on the DS is certainly easy to compare to previous versions on PS2, Xbox et al. Half the time with a new console we're struggling to work out what the sport is, let alone where the goal posts have scampered off to - the only basis for comparison being games on other consoles.
There are lots of reasons for this, but one of the main problems is moving goal posts and working out what it's actually reasonable to expect. Reviewing launch titles on a new console is a difficult process.
